Kangana Ranaut, the 32-year-old actress is unstoppable. Despite her claims that she has been ‘absolutely ignored’ by the film fraternity. Fans of the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi have every reason to look forward to her eventful career in the days to come as she is bagging one movie after another.
Kangana is presently gearing up for the release of her next Judgementall Hai Kya opposite Queen co-star Rajkummar Rao and also she has been roped in for yet another movie. Titled Dhaakad, Kangana’s next looks like a full-throttle action flick going by the latest announcement. She already has Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Panga and AL Vijay’s J Jayalalithaa biopic titled Thalaivi in the oven.

Kangana earlier in an interview said -“My career is not just my journey, it is the journey of Indian cinema as well. This is a first-of-its-kind woman-centric action film in Bollywood. It is mounted on a big scale and the film will be a festival release. If this works, we as women, working in films will never have to look back again. Sohel and Razy have been my friends for years, and this is our dream project. I can’t wait to start working on it”.

Razy told about the action thriller – “The story has a strong emotional undercurrent that craves for a powerful performance. I have been watching Kangana’s progress as an actor and I felt that she would be perfect for this part”.
The director further said, “This film will be beautifully crafted, with a number of thrilling action sequences, and a female hero who’s as elegant as she is deadly”.
Producer Sohel Maklai said, “This is my biggest venture till date and we’re excited to have a powerhouse performer like Kangana on board”. Sohel has previously bankrolled movies like Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Dus and Cash.
