Karisma Kapoor Shares A Video Of Her Parents Dancing In The Rain 

Actress Karisma Kapoor is one of the most active celebrities on social media. She posts pictures from her vacation, her work, some throwback posts etc. on Instagram. The actress never disappoints her followers.

Recently, Karisma shared a clip of the evergreen song Aap Yahan Aaye Kisliye that featured her parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. Karisma shared the picture with caption reads as: “On a gloomy day all you need is watching mama and papa romance in the rain #rainydayblues #kalaajorkal #1971 #loveyouboth #parents.”

The song is from the 1971 movie Kal Aaj Aur Kal that also starred Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, David Abraham Cheulkar and Achala Sachdev. Randhir Kapoor directed the film.

Talking about the work front, she was last seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero. She will soon be starring in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming web series, Mentalhood which will star Sanjay Suri, Sandhya Mridul, Shilpa Shukla and Shruti Seth in supporting roles. It will show different natures of mothers.

Introducing Karisma’s character, Ekta Kapoor posted on her Instagram, “When BIWI NO1 becomes MUMMY NO1! N now we come to d final introduction! The mommy most like us! The enabler the narrator d perspective!! The anti thesis of the PERFECT MOTHER is the ever growing EVER EVOLVING ONE ! She tries she cries she cares she fails n she never gives up! Cause motherhood is an on going process.”

Karisma Kapoor, who is a mother of two in real life, shared in a statement, “Out of choice I wanted to be with my family and children. When I heard this script, it was so interesting. The script was about today’s mother and it was so strong. Women of all ages and all those who are mothers will identify with my character. It is also something which I am going through right now.”
