The handsome hunk, John Abraham is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Batla House. He recently spoke about the clash of his film with Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal at the box office. On 15th August 2019, both the films are going to hit the theatres.

John and Akshay have earlier worked together in Desi Boyz, which was Rohit Dhawan’s film. The two of them have been friends for a long time but now they will be seen competing at the box office. “Make some noise for the desi boys”, said John, when he was asked about the same.
Recently, the trailer of Batla House was dropped and it looks phenomenal. The film is based on the infamous Batla House encounter that had made it to the headlines of the national newspapers in 2008. It also features Mrunal Thakur and is directed by Nikkhil Advani.

The Dostana actor, John will be seen as Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, a police officer and it is clear from the trailer that he is absolutely owning his part in the film. In the last few years, the actor has been a part of many films that are based on patriotic themes and with his smashing performances, he has surprised his fans as well.
The teaser of Mission Mangal also arrived in the recent days and the film is based on Mars Orbiter Mission also known as Operation Mangalyaan. It was India’s first interplanetary expedition. It is helmed by debutante director Jagan Shakti. Mission Mangal also features Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari in pivotal roles.
And there is another film which is going to hit theatres on the same day. It is Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho.
