Finally Virat broke his silence on his rift with vice-captain Rohit Sharma; read full story

The rumour of the rift between Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and Vice-Captain Rohit Sharma is the most trending subject on the internet these days. The fans have taken these rumors seriously and are seen arguing between themselves on various online platforms.

It all started when Rohit Sharma unfollowed Virat Kohli and his wifey Anushka Sharma on Instagram recently. Fans were quick to notice it and huge discussions started popping up and the fans were really stating that there were some serious rift between Kohli and Rohit.

But, Indian Skipper remained silent for all these days, but finally he has decided to break the shackles.

While addressing the media people, he dismissed the reports of the rift that he is having with Rohit Sharma.

Speaking to the media people, Virat stated, “I have heard a lot of things from the outside, If the atmosphere was not right then we would not have been able to come on top of ODI.”

He addressed the media, just before the departure of his team to the tour of West Indies.

He added that if he had any rift with Rohit, they would not have been able to share such a great rapport at the dressing room during India’s world cup campaign in England.

He also said that the performance of India in the world cup was almost fine, and it was mainly due to the better understanding between the team members.

Kohli also said that in his viewpoint, it’s mysterious as well as silly to check out such staff.

“We are feeding on lies and overlooking facts and creating fantasies and scenarios. Bringing personal lives into the picture is disrespectful. Baffling that lies are being floated.”

The Indian squad will be playing 2 T20I games against the West Indies on 3rd and 4th of August. Kohli is keeping aside such rumours and expecting his team to do well in the coming tour against West Indies.
