Indian sprinter Hima Das won another gold on Saturday. This is her 5th gold in 19 days and her big achievement made the nation proud. Hima completed the 400 meter race in 52.09 seconds at the Nove Mestonad Metuji Grand Prix in Czech Republic. At the same time, MP Jabir won gold medal in the 400 meter Hurdles. Mohammed Anas bronze medal, while Nirmal Tom won silver.
The 19-year-old Hima completed the race in her second best time. Before that, her personal best time is 50.79 seconds, which she had achieved during the Asian Games held last year.

On Sunday, PM Modi took to Twitter to congratulate Hima and said: “India is very proud of Hima Das’ phenomenal achievements over the last few days. Everyone is absolutely delighted that she has brought home five medals in various tournaments. Congratulations to her and best wishes for her future endeavours.”
