After the successful launch of Chandrayaan-2 on 22nd July 2019, ISRO has planned to do something bigger than expected. Before witnessing the output of the mission and the Vikram lander touching the lunar surface, ISRO has planned to send Aditya-L1 Mission to the sun at the beginning of the year 2020. It seems ISRO isn’t considering to rest even after succeeding with the recent mission. We consider India might soon enter into the golden age by exploring the space.
ISRO has decided to fulfill it’s subsequent big mission ‘Aditya-L1’ in the first half of the year 2020. With the help of these missions, we can witness the satellite to be launched towards the Sun in order to study its sphere. On the official website of ISRO, it stated that it will soon announce its next mission. It reads, ‘How the corona gets heated to such high temperatures is still an unanswered question in solar physics.’
In the previous month, the director of ISRO Sivan made a revelation during a news conference regarding Aditya-L1 as it will orbit the sun at a protective distance. It will constantly direct towards it so as to collect enough information. He further said, ‘It will always look at the Sun and give an analysis of the corona because it has a major impact on climate change.’
It’s just the beginning of the mission. There is something bigger mission for ISRO which is currently on the cards. We can witness a satellite departing for the planet of Venus. As of now, there is a precise timeline for it. However, the director Sivan anticipates that it could be launched in a span of two to three years.
