Those who watch shooting competitions, will surely be familiar with the big names Abhinav Bindra and  Niccolo Campriani. Abhinav Bindra was the first Indian who was able to win an Individual gold in Olympics.  Niccolo Campriani is another amazing shooting star who has won gold 3 times.

Recently, Niccolo Campriani is being involved in an interesting project, in which he is preparing 3 refugee shooting athletes to have a shot at the coming Olympics. And the man behind the scene is the Indian shooting star Abhinav Bindra.

Taking Refugee is the name of the documentary series and it shows the path that was involved in getting three refugees ready for the Olympic games, which is the biggest sporting event ever.  From the sidelines, Abhinav Bindra was preparing the candidates for the project and Niccolo Campriani was the one who trained the athletes. The trailer of the documentary is out and it got a huge response on the social media from fans across the world.

With the Olympics only less than an year away, Abhinav and Niccolo are making their best to train these refugee athletes, so as to make it big at the mega event.

Each and everyone think that Abhinav Bindra is doing a great thing for the refugees and hopes that his efforts bear the right fruit. Abhinav Bindra had brought glory to India before through his individual performances and now he is playing his role that will help others move towards their dreams.

The star shooter became the pride of India after winning the gold in the 10 meter Air Rifle event at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. It was also India’s first gold medal since 1980. Abhinav has also won the gold medal for shooting at the ISSF World Shooting Championships in 2006.

Niccolo Campriani was appointed as the shooting coach of the Italian national biathlon team in 2018.
