JW Marriott has been on the receiving end with huge slamming ever since Rahul posted this on the social media.
Meanwhile, Deepak Shenoy, who is a corporate founder, posted a tweet that mentioned an announcement made by Taj and it went viral in no time. The tweet said that Taj will be “delighted” to serve seasonal fruits while offering various compliments.
The fans and other internet users took this announcement as an opportunity to make fun of JW Marriott. The fans said that this has been a common practice in Taj and many other five star hotels in the country for some time now. Twitter really had a great fun after the banana tweet and related trolls came into the force.
Deepak Shenoy’s post on social media invited various likes and also introduces a hilarious discussion in the comment section. There were comments such as “Waah Taj” and “Well Played Taj”.

It all started on Wednesday, after Rahul posted a video from JW Marriott in Chandigarh. In the video, he was seen stating that he paid Rs 442.50 for two bananas at this hotel in Chandigarh.
After the post, comments started flowing in and some answered in favor of Rahul, while some were against him.
Mr. Mandip Singh Brar, Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner and Excise and Taxation Commissioner, has ordered an investigation into the matter, soon after the post went viral and grabbed the attention of the authorities.
Mr. Brar said that based on the video, he has directed Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner (AETC) Rajeev Chaudhary to conduct a thorough probe on the issue.
