When it comes to cricket, or any other sport there is always a comparison of which player scored the most. When we talk about cricket, there is always talked which batsman scored most runs, which bowler took most wickets, player with most six’s and four’s etc. As World Cup 2019 is going on how can we not talk about which player is going to be the top run scorer in the tournament Of this year’s cricket world cup.

As far now, the tournament seems to be blessed with some of the finest batsman who are powerful hitters to score most runs in their account. The top four batsman of team England’s Joe Root, India’s Virat Kohli , New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Australia’s Steve Smith are known as the best batsmen on the planet across all formats of the game. In the tournament, so far Indian batsman and vice captain of the team is on the top of the list to score most runs with 648 runs.

As team India is knocked out of the tournament in the semi finale match against New Zealand by 18 runs, Rohit Sharma can’t score any runs. So, in order to surpass Rohit, and make their place in highest run scorer in world cup 2019 tournament, England’s Joe Root and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson still have the chance.
