It is very much obvious for female actors to be facing pregnancy speculations after their marriage. But when it comes to Anushka Sharma, she is not someone to be affected by all these. There have been rumours afloat that she might be expecting a baby since the actor has not signed any film after Zero.
Recently, in an interview, Anushka has put all such speculations to rest. She said that people love to read into something that isn’t there. An actress gets married and the next thing they talk about it is, Is she pregnant? And when she’s dating, it’s like, are they gonna marry or not? It’s crude. You should allow people to live their life according to themselves.
Anushka on pregnancy rumours said – “You put someone in a position where they end up clarifying unnecessarily. What irks me is the clarification part. Do I need to clarify? No! But then that’s how it is”.
She also added – “Any actress, who gets married… they’ve said something about all of them. Someone could be wearing clothes that are loose. That’s because they’re trendy. But they’re said to be pregnant. It’s like a monkey on your back. You can’t do anything about it. You just ignore it”.
The Sui Dhaaga actress has been on a break from films after she did three movies in 2018 – Pari, Sui Dhaaga and Zero. She has been spending time with her husband Virat Kohli and on 6th July, she was spotted in the stands during India’s final group stage match against Sri Lanka in Headingley in Leeds.
