Akshay Kumar’s son Aarav was scared of Manjulika for years, says Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan in a recent interview revealed that Aarav Bhatia was scared of Manjulika from Bhool Bhulaiyaa for many years.

Vidya Balan’s drastic transformation into vindictive ghost Manjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa won her accolades from the critics as well as the  group of spectators. She played Avni, a lady with dissociative identity issue, whose other personality is Manjulika, a spirit who wants to take revenge.

In a recent interview, Vidya uncovered that her co-star Akshay Kumar’s son Aarav was startled by her character for a considerable length of time. “Really, it’s amazing because across the board, people come to me. A few people don’t know my name, they know me as Manjulika,” she said.

When Akshay ringed in that Aarav calls her Manjulika, the actress uncovered, “Twinkle (Khanna) had disclosed to me this once. Aarav was playing the song and dancing on it. In the middle of, he remembered me and went hurrying to her since he was scared.” She included that he was startled by Manjulika for years.

Not so long,Vidya communicated her failure over not being nominated for any honors for Bhool Bhulaiyaa. “I remember that I wasn’t nominated for my exhibition in Bhool Bhulaiyaa at the award shows. Around then, I truly felt sad because everyone was stating that I had performed truly well in the film, yet nobody nominated me for that film. I recall that I was a bit stunned after that yet I believe it’s a part of life,” she was cited by IANS as saying.

Helmed by Priyadarshan, Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a comedy thriller ride which was released in 2007. The film spun around love birds Siddharth and Avni, who move back to India from the US, and begin living in the Sidharth’s palatial home with his family. But soon, mysterious things start happening there.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which likewise featured Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Asrani and Rajpal Yadav in key jobs, was an enormous hit in the cinema world.

Presently, over 10 years after the release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is good to go to have a remake. Buzz is that Kartik Aaryan has been reserved in to play the lead in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, with Akshay showing up in the film. It is being said that Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are the top contenders for the main woman lead.
