Deepika Padukone is happily married to her long time beau Ranveer Singh. Before started dating Ranveer, Deepika was in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor but they ended up in a bitter break-up. It is no secret that Ranbir Kapoor had cheated on her and Deepika has always vocal about it.
As per a report published in Cosmopolitan, Deepika had opened up about Ranbir Kapoor’s cheating, “If I’m going to be fooling around, why would I be in a relationship? It’s better to be single and have fun. But not everyone thinks like that. Maybe that’s why I’ve been hurt in the past. I was foolish enough to give him a second chance because he begged and pleaded, despite the fact that everyone around me said he was still straying. Then I actually caught him red-handed. It took me a while to get out. But having done that, nothing can make me go back. That ship has sailed.”
She had further said, “It made me realise I should not be so attached to one thing or a person – after the break-up the fact that I had to pick myself up. I cried a lot after my break-up. But I have become a better person and I thank him for that.”
Rumours are making round the corner that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have been approached to work in a Luv Ranjan film together. They have earlier appeared in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
Recently, Deepika Padukone slammed Salman Khan as she was quite irked with him for his take on dejection. She said, “People confuse it with being a bit sad. A male star recently said that he didn’t have the luxury to be dispirited. As if dejection is a choice.”
“Every second was a struggle. I felt exhausted the whole time,” Deepika said. However, she didn’t mention Salman’s name.
Salman had said that he can’t afford to have a luxury of being dispirited or sad or emotional. He further said that no matter what he is going through, it works against him.
