National award winning actor Vicky Kaushal keeps updating his fans on social media. Yesterday, he took to Instagram and shared a childhood photo of himself. The actor captioned the picture: “Fridge potato. Circa 88.”
This is not the first time he posted any of his throwback picture, earlier too he has shared an adorable picture of himself with caption, “Post shave look…”

Talking about his professional front, the actor is riding high on success these days. He won National award for the Best Actor for his film Uri: The Surgical Strike. He shared the award with Ayushmann Khurrana as he won for his film AndhaDhun.

To thank his fans and his Uri team for the National Award win, Vicky wrote, “Words might fall short to describe the happiness I’m feeling right now. For my work to be recognised by the honourable National Film Awards Jury is truly a moving moment for me and my family. I wish to thank each and every member of the jury committee for finding me worthy of the prestigious Best Actor Award for my work in URI-The Surgical Strike. I’m also very happy to be sharing the award with someone whom I admire, both as a person and as an actor. Ayushmann, congratulations brother!” He mentioned Ayushmann too.
Vicky added, “I wish to dedicate this Award to my parents, to every member of Team URI, to our nation and to our army forces who put their lives on the line each day, come rain or storm.
Thank You!”

Vicky has film Sardar Udham Singh in his kitty which is based on the life of freedom fighter Udham Singh. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar.
