Few Indian Cricketers Faded Away Despite Having Talent

Cricket is one of the favorite sports for most people in India and even other countries as well. At the time of the speaking about cricket, we remember the most popular ones such as Sachin, Dhoni, Kohli, and others. But, there are few Indian cricketers having amazing talent but couldn’t get enough chances. Some of them got opportunities but couldn’t utilize them in a proper way. Pragyan Ojha

Pragyan Ojha is a a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He played for Hyderabad in local matches. After making his debut in IPL, he came into limelight. He also got a chance to play ODI against Bangladesh in 2008. In his cricket career, he played 24 matches and had taken 113 wickets. His average was 30.27 out of 24 matches. In the place of Ojha, Ravindra Jadeja was taken into the Indian cricket team to play for international matches. He lost his place due to his pace-friendly wicket.

Rahul Sharma

He is a tall spinner from Punjab. He is quite popular for his ability in taking additional bounce from pitches with the help of his height. He acquired a position in IPL to play for Mumbai Indians. During the 4th ODI against West Indies, he received an Indian cap. Due to his injuries, Rahul Sharma couldn’t go further in his competitive cricket career.

Wasim Jaffer

He is one of the popular players in Indian domestic cricket. He has created a record in the Indian history of cricket by scoring 19417 runs in 253 first-class matches with an average of 51.19. Among them, he made 57 hundred and his highest score was 314. Due to his slow and traditional mode of playing the game, he was out of the team.

Vinay Kumar

He is also known as ‘Davengere Express’. He is a pacer usually depends on accuracy, slow balls. He played 31 ODIs till now with 38 wickets in his bowling career.
