Ex Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today. The renowned personality and senior BJP head was 66 years old.
As per reports, the BJP stalwart was taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the national capital after complaining breathing difficulty and anxiety on August 09.
AIIMS did not released any statement on Jaitley’s physical condition since August 9, when he got admitted.
The leader had been admitted to the ICU of Cardiology Department of AIIMS where he was being attended by expert team including endocrinologist, nephrologist and cardiologist.
The reports added up that Jaitley got admitted (on August 09) to AIIMS around 11 AM.
As the news about Jaitley’s health got viral, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached AIIMS to inquire about ex finmin’s condition.

Modi stayed there for some time, and then he left for his dwelling.
In addition to PM Modi, other ministers who visited Jaitley to inquire regarding his well-being included President Ram Nath Kovind, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other BJP heads.
The family members of the veteran BJP leader were staying at the VIP room of the Cardiothoracic and Neurosciences Centre in AIIMS.
The well-known leader had taken a 3 month leave to undergo a kidney transplant in 2018. Arun Jaitley did not compete the 2019 Lok Sabha poll owing to his ill-health.
He was the Finance Minister during the Narendra Modi-headed NDA administration’s first tenure in office.
Owing to his deprived condition, he was forced to leave for the United States for proper medical cure.
During September 2014, he has bariatric operation to correct the extra weight he had gained owing to diabetes.
