The sequel of Dil Chahta hai after 10-15 years would be no fun. Said Akshaye Khanna, who was present at the trailer launch of film Section 375 in Mumbai.
Actor Akshaye Khanna said that a sequel of the much-adored Dil Chahta Hai will be fun when the majority of its lead stars Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and he are fifty or more. Viewed as one of the benchmark films on friendship, Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai has completed 18 years.
When Akshaye was asked, what does he figure the characters would do today, he told journalists, “I always told Farhan that hold up till all of us are fifty or more and after that make Dil Chahta Hai 2.”
“At that point, it will be fun, it is no fun if you make it following 10-15 years. So now Aamir is 50 or more, Saif will be there soon and I’ll take somewhat more time and afterward we’ll see!” he included.
Akshaye, 44, was talking at the trailer launch of his most recent film, Section 375.
Coordinated by Ajay Bahl, the court dramatization spins around an assault case and highlights the actor playing a legal advisor who is defending the blamed.
“I did the film since I was completely intrigued and impressed by Ajay’s writing. I had not gone over this sort of writing in the longest time. It is so mature and very deep. When you watch the movie, I am certain you will perceive that the director has made this film with a lot of maturity,” the Section 375 actor said.
The film, likewise features actress Richa Chadha,and is all set to be released on September 13.
