Anita Raj is turning 57 on this 13th August. At the time of their career, the love story of Dharmendra & Hema Malini in Bollywood made a lot of headlines. But, it is not just Hema who won Dharmendra’s heart, there is one more beauty after whom he got crazy since he saw her and she was none other than Bollywood’s veteran actress Anita Raj. There was a time in his career, when Dharmendra’s films stopped doing magic at the screens. In 1983, Rajkumar Kohli’s film Servant Biwi Ka’ proved successful and after that, Dharmendra got a new direction to give to his career. In this film, Anita Raj worked with him and the on-screen pair was also liked by the audience. Anita Raj, after giving hit films like Servant Biwi Ka, Prem Geet, Ghulami managed to make her place in Bollywood. Also, she has worked with Dharmendra in other films as well.
The duo hit the box office with the films like Slavery, Karishma Kudrat Ka, Jaljala and Insaniyat Dushman. After these hits, the directors and producers wanted to make this pair appear in their movies. There were rumours at that time about the love affair of Dharmendra and Anita.
The rumours worked fiercely as in no time it had been in the whole Bollywood industry and not only this, Dharam Paji’s family members also came to know about it soon and then they started pressurizing Paji to stay away from Anita Raj but it is only because of Anit that his career went on for another ten years.
