Twitteraties applauding on BJP MP from Ladakh, Namgyal’s Parliament speech

Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, BJP MP from Ladakh while asserting that Kashmir has always treated Ladakh as a step-mother, said that citizens of Ladakh have welcomed the decision of central government to announce Ladakh as Union Territory without a legislature.

Namgyal said that this decision will lead to the development of Ladakh. People of Ladakh always wanted to stay in touch with the central government directly, that is why we were demanding to announce Ladakh as Union Territory.

This decision is extremely beneficial for the development of Ladakh and border security believes Namgyal. Namgyal when asked about the regional parties condemning the central government’s decision, said – “These political parties do not think for the betterment of this nation. They just want to run their family business and that is what they have been doing”.

In the Parliament, Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal said – “Ladakh is going to have development & improvisation soon. Kargil’s people have given vote for the region to become a UT. In the Parliamentary election of 2014, UT was on the top manifesto of Ladakh and majority of Ladakh has given vote for UT. Again in the elections of 2019, we again brought the UT in the election manifesto and we have reached people of every region & religion to tell them about UT & people with majority have given me this opportunity to come to the Parliament. People have kept faith in the Government of Narendra Modi Ji and have welcomed this UT decision”.

Namgyal questioning the opposition says – “do they really know about the Kargil?” & he also asked Congress about their equality. In the year 2011, they opened a Central University in Kashmir & another one in Jammu but in Ladakh, they have not given any higher education institution.
