Wednesday proved a lucky day for team India as the brigade of Virat Kohli beat South Africa in their opening match of World Cup 2019 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma helped team India to chase down 228 after a week start against South Africa. Also, Rohit Sharma crossed Sourav Ganguly’s tally of 23 ODI hundreds and MS Dhoni scored 34.
But, the joy of victory over South Africa increased after seeing Ziva Dhoni enjoying herself in the stands. Little munchkin reached England with her mother Sakshi Dhoni to watch the Indian cricket team in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Other teams who are taking part in the World game reached before team India. However, team India kick started their journey with the help of Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah’s restriction against South Africa to 227 for 9 off their 50 overs.

Princess of Dhoni was seeing in full fun. She was a constant audience in Chennai Super Kings matches in the Indian Premier League. Little girl was also seen dancing and cheering for her father. In 2019’s IPL match when CSK reached the final, Ziva was all over social media with her cute videos and pictures. She is surely a constant audience in all India matches.
Ziva took birth to Sakshi and MS Dhoni in 2015 days before the World Cup got underway in Australia and New Zealand. And now after 4 years, he has Ziva and his wife for company in the World Cup.
“I don’t know whether it has changed me as a cricketer, as a person yes of course because daughters are very close to their fathers,” Dhoni talking about his daughter said.
“In my case the problem is when she (Ziva) was born I was not there (three years ago), most of the time I was playing cricket, so everything bad somehow is thrown at me (to deal with),” he added.
The cricketer also said, “I had a wonderful time with her (Ziva), she was there for the whole of IPL and one of her biggest requests used to be I have to go to the ground, that is lawn for her. And also there are lot of kids in the team.”
