In past years there have been development in the world of phones and one among the biggest brand in the smartphones is Honor. In the recent years it has come up with some of the great phones and has made its image in the market as well as among the users. The Honor View 20 feels like it was launched a long time ago, when it was actually the first flagship of 2019.
The company recently made the announcement of its new phones Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro. The Honor 20 is priced at Rs 32,999 and competes with the One Plus 7. The phone offers a punch-hole display and quad camera setup. It is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset and runs on Android Pie-based Magic UI.
It is a compact phone – not nearly as petite as the Galaxy S10e, but compact enough to reach the top of the display with one hand. It is also on the lighter side at 174 grams. The added bonus is that the Honor 20 also happens to look stunning. The edges are curved and the glass panel uses something called a 3D Triple Mesh technology which is a combination of glass, colour and depth to create a kind of holographic, 3D-like depth effect.
The Honor 20 will have a dual Nano SIM slot with no support for storage expandability. It also has great display as it offers a 6.26-inch FHD+ (2340×1080) All View LCD display, which is amazing. The Honor 20 is good for watching videos in HDR whether it’s on YouTube or platforms like Netflix and Prime Video and yes, Widevine L1 certification is present.
Honor 20 is powered by Huawei’s flagship Kirin 980 SoC and so is the Pro model. The Honor 20 is in a single variant that comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. All of this sounds sufficient to offer a fast and smooth performance. A quick browsing of the UI felt smooth and fast while apps opened in a snap.
Honor 20 ships with Android Pie with Magic UI 2.1, which is essentially a version of EMUI.
