ShreyasTalpade, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sanjay Mishra And Asrani Joined SRK And His Son For Voice Over For The Lion King 

Disney is gearing up for the release of legendary franchise and crown jewel – The Lion King after conquering hearts with The Jungle Book in 2016. This time, they are to show the father-son duo of Mufasa and Simba getting us emotional. We will also see the perfect comic timing of Timon and Pumbaa, witty bird Zazu and the evil villain Scar, rounding up.

Recently, the announcement was made that actor Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan will be voicing Mufasa and Simba in the Hindi version of the film. Fans are already happy to hear the news and meanwhile, it is reported that Disney has roped a befitting casting for the rest of the characters. For voice over of menacing villain, Ashish Vidyarthi will give his voice. Talented ShreyasTalpade, Sanjay Mishra, and veteran Asrani will be lending their trademark wit s Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu respectively.

A quintessential story of a father and his son and their heartwarming relationship; it’s a tale of a pride of lions that will connect with audiences emotionally. The movie is a pioneering blend of live-action filmmaking techniques and state-of-the-art virtual reality technology never seen before on celluloid.”

The Lion King is helmed by Iron Man and The Jungle Book fame director, Jon Favreau, Disney’s The Lion King and it is one of the most-anticipated films of recent times. The Lion King is slated to release on July 19, 2019.

After boarding the team for the voice over, Shreyas wrote on social media, “Thank you @disneyfilmsindia for thinking of me as #Timon and making me a part of something as classic as #LionKing.
