Proud Moment : FIH Series Finals: Indian Women’s Hockey Team Beats Uruguay 4-1 in Opener

The Fédération Internationale de Hockey which is has started, Indian women’s hockey team began on a winning note. The FIH Series Finals is taking place in Hiroshima, Japan and India shows an impressive 4-1 win over Uruguay on Saturday.The Indian Women Hockey team ranks No.9 in the world, Rani Rampal, Gurjant Kaur, Jyoti and Lalremsiami scored in India’s emphatic victory over Uruguay. Captain Rani giving them the lead in the 10th minute with a skillful strike. At the end of first quarter, India led 1-0 despite Uruguay dominating the possession and creating more opportunities. India dominated possession in the second quarter.

India comfortably beats Uruguay in its first Pool A match of FIH Women’s Series Finals. Goals from Rani Rampal (10′), Gurjit Kaur (21′), Jyoti (40′) and Lalremsiami (56′)  ensured India emerged victorious at the end.
