Captain Rani giving them the lead in the 10th minute with a skillful strike. At the end of first quarter, India led 1-0 despite Uruguay dominating the possession and creating more opportunities. India dominated possession in the second quarter.
India comfortably beats Uruguay in its first Pool A match of FIH Women’s Series Finals. Goals from Rani Rampal (10′), Gurjit Kaur (21′), Jyoti (40′) and Lalremsiami (56′) ensured India emerged victorious at the end.
