Talking about her work front, the actress is all set to make a comeback on the small screen. She will be back with the remake of successful medical drama Sanjivani. Surbhi has been casted to play the female lead but the makers were still in search for the male lead. And now, as per the reports, Namit Khanna who was last seen in Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai alongside Palak Jain has been casted to play the male lead for the medical drama Sanjivani.
In the show, she will be seen playing the role of a Punjabi girl who gets admitted into Sanjivani hospital with an aim to prove her parents’ innocence. Namit Khanna will play a surgeon in the show and they will be seen starting tbeir journey on a bitter note but will eventually fall in love.
