Omerta director Hansal Mehta to make a biopic on Sridevi for a special reason

The Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away on 24th February due to accidental drowning in a hotel bathroom. The actress was 54 years old. Sridevi was with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi during her last stage of life. Sridevi was with her family to attend the wedding function of Mohit Marwah.

Sridevi’s demise is a big loss to Bollywood fraternity. Sridevi was the first female star of Indian Bollywood industry. She has given many blockbuster movies throughout her career.

Prominent director Hansal Mehta, who grieves for not working with Sridevi in films, told news agency IANS on Saturday that he will make a film on late actress. Director Hansal said that he had a good script to work with Sridevi but he could not approach her in time.

“There will never be another Sridevi. I was about to approach her for a film. That film will now be dedicated to her. If it finds an actor. I will always regret that I didn’t approach her and could not make a movie with her. But I will make a film on her,” he told IANS.

As of now, Hansal Mehta is very focused on the release of Omerta, which chronicles the life of British-Pakistani terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh.
