It’s been about 10 days that Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away. Last week, the ashes of the late actress were immersed by husband Boney Kapoor on 3rd March in the sea of Rameswaram. The ashes of the late actress were brought to Chennai in a special aircraft by Boney Kapoor last Friday.
And now, Boney, along with Anik Kapoor and other members of his family, will fly to the holy land of Haridwar to offer prayers for Haridwar. According to the reports, the Kapoor family will fly tomorrow to conduct the necessary rituals. As per a source of DNA, “Conducting prayers at Haridwar is a significant custom for Hindus, especially for those who are from North India. And Boney wants to ensure that he goes through the rituals at the holy place.”
The legendary actress died on 24th Feb in a Dubai Hotel by accidentally drowning in the bathtub. She, along with Boney and younger daughter Khushi was in Dubai to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding.
Her body was brought to India 3 days after her death. The cremation was done in Vile Parle, Mumbai on Feb 28. She was cremated with full state honours in Mumbai. She was draped in tri colour and a gun salute was given by Mumbai Police before cremation.
