It’s been 5 years since Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been each other after they met on the sets of ‘Goliyon ki rasleela: Ramleela’. Although they haven’t officially accepted their relationship in public, but their PDA says it all. Be it in award shows, events, interviews or any public appearance, one could say just by looking at them that the couple is in love.
Many speculations have also been doing rounds about the couple tying the knot, especially since the couple returned from their year-end Maldives trip with their families. While on Deepika’s birthday, rumours went strong that the couple got engaged. However, Deepika rubbished the rumours on the talk reality show, ‘BFFs with Vogue’. But as per the latest reports, the couple is all set to have an extreme private wedding by the year-end.
According to the sources, “They (Ranveer and Deepika) had just returned from their week-long holiday in the Maldives and their respective parents had recently blessed the alliance. It was the perfect moment to celebrate the union and the couple didn’t shy away from the photogs as they left together in Ranveer’s car.”
Sources further reveal that Ranveer and Deepika’s family have finalised four dates between September and December. “It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow,” the source added.
Deepika has already begun the preparations as she was recently rumoured to be doing wedding shopping for her bridal trousseau and jewellery, with her sister Anisha and Mom Ujjala Padukone in Bangalore. The ideal venue for the wedding is yet to be decided by the couple.
