Abhay Deol’s Horror-Comedy ‘Nanu Ki Janu’ Trailer Launched in Mumbai

After ‘Golmaal Again’, there’s one more horror-comedy going to be released soon, Faraz Haider directorial ‘Nanu ki Jaanu’, starring Abhay Deol and Patralekhaa in lead roles. Recently, the trailer for the upcoming movie was launched in Mumbai suburbs.

The whole cast of the movie including Director Faraz Haider, writer Manu Rishi Chadha and the lead actors Abhay and Patralekhaa came together to unveil the trailer.

When asked about the possible comparison of Golmaal Again with his movie which is also a horror-comedy drama, Faraz says, “Golmaal Again is a slapstick comedy, mine is realistic. So there should be no comparisons.”

While Abhay Deol said he signed the movie because he loved the script, CityLights actress Patralekhaa gave a simple answer saying, “I thought the film is a very sweet one.” Talking about Abhay Deol, the actress went all praises for him and said that Abhay is a big inspiration for him. “Abhay was a big inspiration for me to choose my career so I obviously jumped into doing the film with him. He’s punctual, dedicated and vocal.”

On being asked if he felt any supernatural powers while filming, he said, “I’ve never had supernatural instances. Actually, I don’t believe in ghosts, but spirits.” The actor also confirmed his cameo in Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Zero’.

“I have a cameo in Zero and that’s all I can tell you”, confirmed Abhay. Abhay is reportedly playing Katrina’s husband in the movie. He was also asked about the ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ sequel, to which the actor replied, “We’re all ready for ‘ZNMD 2’ but Zoya has to have the mood.”

While Abhay Deol was last seen in ‘Happy bhaag jayegi’ opposite Diana Penty, Patralekhaa was in the news as she happens to be the girlfriend of talented actor Rajkummar Rao. Both were seen together in the movie ‘CityLights’.

On being asked whether the couple discusses their work or take advice, she answers, “Me and Raj don’t interfere in each other’s work.”
