Sometimes, an advice given by someone can change your life forever. Same happened with this man, Gwilym Pugh. 21-year-old businessman Gwilym Pugh started a successful insurance company in his room. However, the lazy life of working from home took over and he put on about 280 pounds of weight.

According to a leading tabloid, Gwilym said, “I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in uni so I decided to put that off and I ended up working in British Gas and then I started my own financial startup back in 2006 at the age of 21.”

Even though his professional life was going good, he wasn’t happy with his personal life. Talking about that time, he said,

“At that time I was pretty overweight, working 12 hours a day, plagued with injuries which meant I couldn’t train at all. The business was doing okay, but I decided I needed to get my life in order and wanted to get healthy again.”

Narrating the story he said that he had even started a folk-country band with his friend. His barber told him to grow a beard because he said that ever guitarist in a folk band needed to have a beard. Have a look at his pics!

Gwilym lost his weight with drastically for the band and also grew a beard as his barber advice. Fortunately, Gwilym who is now signed with top London agency AMCK Models. He has worked for Vans, Bud Light, Diesel and with David Beckem very closely. His story of luck favors the brave is truly inspiring.
