Bollywood has always seen some fights between celebrities, whether between actors or between directors and actors. But there are also some great examples of everlasting bonds between these stars.

1. Abhishek Bachchan and Goldie Behl
Very few know that Junio Bachchan and Indian filmmaker, Goldie Behl are childhood friends and have also worked together in many films like -Bas itna sa khwab hai’ and ‘Drona’. Although their films didn’t do well at the box office, Abhishek doesn’t care whether his films with Goldie worked or not. According to him, their friendship is not work-based. Goldie Behl is the husband of Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre.
2. Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher
Actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher share a strong bond of friendship for over more than 25 years. In fact, Anil Kapoor credits his life and career to Anupam Kher giving him constant support. They saw many difficult situations in life but that didn’t affect their friendship. Says Kher, “I can drop in at Anil’s for breakfast or dinner unannounced if my wife is not around. We don’t need to be formal with one another. We are not.”
3. Rani Mukherjee and Vaibhavi Merchant
Both Rani and Vaibhavi have been sharing a sister-like bond for over a decade. In fact, Rani is so close to Vaibhavi that when Rani got married to Aditya Chopra, people wondered if Vaibhavi will accompany to Aditya’s home as a dowry gift.
4. Jeetendra and Rakesh Roshan
Rakesh Roshan and Jeetendra along with Rishi Kapoor would meet almost every evening for drinks and gossip sessions. Sadly, due to some family obligations, Rishi discontinued the routine, but Jitu and Rakesh still continue to be best of friends for over 35 years. “We’ve been friends for over 30 years. Our friendship has nothing to do with work,” says Rakesh.
5. Shatrughan Sinha and Pahlaj Nihalani
Chairman of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Pahlaj Nihalani and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha have been best friends for a long time. In fact, Pahlaj Nihalani considers himself the Hanuman to Shatrughan Sinha’s Ram. “We may not meet every day due to our killing schedules. But the minute he needs me, I am there. We do not have to talk about our friendship. It is there, like the air we breathe,” says Pahlaj emotionally.
6. Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji
The whole Bollywood industry is aware of the great bond shared by the actor-director duo, Ranbir and Ayan. Ayan and Ranbir worked together in two movies, ‘Wake up Sid’ and ‘Yeh jawani hai deewani’.
7. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani
Farhan Akhtar and Businessman Ritesh Sidhwani have been good friends for over a decade and also own a production company together. “We don’t have to meet every day. We are not married to one another. We have separate lives. But we’ve been friends long enough to not let vested interests spoil it,” says Farhan.
