Live update: Sridevi’s last home coming pics from Mumbai airport

Sridevi’s death case has finally seen the light of the day after two days of her death. The actress who died all of a sudden shocked everyone and no one could believe how it happened. However, after a series of baseless speculations, it is finally revealed that Sridevi died due to accidental drowning in the bathtub which led to her death.

“Dubai police has handed over the Consulate and the family members letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor so that they can proceed for embalming,” read a tweet from the official page of Consulate General of India, Dubai.

The Dubai police closed the death stating the above reason and her body was released from the morgue. The family did the embalming process. Sridevi’s body reached the Dubai International Airport by 6.00 pm and after that, her body was carried by in a private jet by her family members. Boney Kapoor was with Arjun Kapoor, according to sources.

Around 10 pm, the mortal of Sridevi landed at Mumbai International airport.  After that, with the help of Mumbai police, it was taken to Sridevi’s place which is in Lokhandwala, Andheri. Media was all over the airport. Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were at the airport to receive the body.

In the jet plane there were 6 family members and 3 close friends. Even Anil Ambani was present at the airport to receive the mortal of Sridevi.

The Kapoor family has now released an official statement giving out details of the funeral and last rites of the legendary actor Sridevi. The mortal of Sridevi is taken to her Lokhandwala residence.
