For the first time in the history of Indian entertainment, TED Talks has come to Indian televisions to reach more people, all thanks to Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan for bringing the show to India. SRK was the only Indian Actor ever to speak at TED Talks. SRK is hosting the Indian version of the show.

The woman and social activist Jasmeen Phateja gave some tips to women how they can deal with the sexual harassment and also gave the reason why women should walk with confidence in the journey of life. She also shared her views on the need for society to change its views on women and treating women as humans and not as a pleasure machine of sexual or any other.
Anju Kadam shared her views on wearing saree and why it is the best thing for women to wear by explaining that wearing a saree is wearing prints of your culture.

The TED Talks India has gained immense popularity on Indian Television and the main reason behind is SRK with the right type of conceptual show which actually inspires people. We hope more such shows are introduced on Indian television.
