Akshay Kumar has always been working towards the betterment of soldiers and their families. This is probably because he knows their hardships as he himself belongs from an army background. His father Hari Om Bhatia was a soldier in the Indian army, based in Amritsar. Akshay was very close to his father and took inspiration from him.
