Padmaavat Public Review: SLB’s Magnum Opus Glorifies Rajput Pride To The Fullest!

Padmaavat was initially titled as Padmavati and was slated to release on December 1, 2017. But due to constant protest by Rajput groups and ban by various state governments, the movie was pushed to January 25 and was titled as Padmaavat.

When the film is finally releasing and many people are very excited to watch the film, the protests are still going on against the film. The Bollywood is standing in support of the film and various celebrities have expressed their views on why the film should be allowed to be released.

Padmaavat is a movie based on the life of Mewar’s royal Queen Padmini. During the shoot of the film due to some rumors, the film started facing oppositions from the Rajput groups. The opposition has become so intense that various state governments have banned the film’s release.

Public Review:

Many media houses carried out public reviews from people who have watched the movie posted the video on their social media pages, from that source, we can say that public reviews are extremely positive. According to Public, Deepika Padukone has nailed the role like never before and Ranveer carries the movie on his shoulder to his best.

According to Public, there can be no better movie to glorify the Rajput pride. However, some people also said that the movie is too stretched and also said that the movie has maintained the dignity to every woman and there is not even a single scene that shows any woman in the wrong image. Shahid, Deepika, and Ranveer have surely given their best performance of their career. The media houses have also given a thumbs up for the film.

However, it seems that some people are still not convinced and violence has started at some major places in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The Supreme Court has come in support of Padmaavat movie saying that no state can ban the movie when it is cleared by CBFC.

The film stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Allaudin Khilji. The film is all set to officially release on January 25.
