In the first pic, we can see Akshay wearing an orange outfit with the intense look in his eyes. The shoot for the movie has already begun and will release next year probably.
The channel Discovery JEET that will go on-air in few days revealed the look of Mohit Raina as Havildar Ishar Singh. He looks like a mighty warrior in it. The show is titled as 21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897. The show is a documentary drama aligning with Discoveries content sensibilities. The show is produced by Abhimanyu Singh’s Contiloe Pictures. Commenting on the show, Mohit said, “I have always been fascinated by defense services. As a student of an Army school, I was always surrounded by men of discipline and repute. It is an honor to play a Hawildar who laid his life for his motherland. To look the part was the most challenging task, but the research/creative team has done a wonderful job. The minuscule details were taken care of by them. I hope the audience likes the first look and accepts the part.”
The Battle of Saragarhi was fought in 1897 where the 21 brave soldiers of the 36th Sikh regiment of the British Indian Army defended India from an army of 10,000 people from the Pashtun and Orakzai tribesmen.
