Bollywood producer Prerna Arora seems to have found her muse in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. After collaborating with Ash in Fanne Khan, the star producer approached the gorgeous diva for two more projects.
Well, not only has Prerana’s production house KriArj Entertainment accepted Ash’s demand but also approached her for a third film as well. Though knowing that Aishwarya has quoted a whopping sum of Rs.10 crore for a starring in a remake of Nargis Dutt’s 1968 film Raat Aur Din.
Jasmine is surrogacy drama film and will be co-produced by Prerna Arora and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh. The script of Jasmine has been penned by the writers of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha—Siddharth and Garima—who will also be directing the film.
“Jasmine will be shot in Gujarat and in Pushkar, Rajasthan.We will still have him (Shree Narayan Singh) as editor and co-producer,” Prernaa added.
Shree Narayan Singh had earlier said, “It is inspired by a real-life story of a woman in Gujarat who doesn’t want to have children but decides to become a surrogate mother for someone else. After a point, she gets attached to the child and wants the child back.”
Talking about Siddharth and Garima’s directorial debut, Prernaa had revealed that since Shree Narayan Singh will be busy with working with Shahid Kapoor and Yami Gautam starrer on Batti Gul Meter Chalu, the scriptwriting duo has been roped in to direct Jasmine.
The poster of Jasmine seems to be quite interesting and now we just can’t wait to watch the film.
