This year, PETA has announced the Vegetarian celebrities and the winners are the beautiful Alia Bhatt and talented Rajkummar Rao. The competition is quite neck and neck and these two emerged as the winners. Both of the actors highly promoted intake of plant-based foods and stood as the winners as per PETA. Other actors who failed to make it to the finals are Amitabh Bachchan, Vidyut Jammwal, Shahid Kapoor, Sunny Leone, R Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Sridevi among others.
Alia said “I prefer having vegetarian food. It is a way to healthy life.” Ayushmann Khurrana who is a co-star of Rajkumar said in a statement that Rajkumar doesn’t have any bad habits, as he “doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, doesn’t have non-vegetarian, and talks in a good way.
Sachin Bangera, PETA’s associate director of celebrity and public relations said, “Alia Bhatt and Rajkummar Rao are fit, hot, and compassionate, and they’re setting a great example for their fans and millions of other people who want to fight climate change with their forks.”

Interestingly, Bollywood has many pure vegetarians. It is good to see the rising number of pure vegetarians which implies to the lower risk of worst effects of climate change. There is a need to increase this vegetarian numbers so as to protect our climate and make it a better place for you, for me and the entire human race. With the actors promoting to eat vegetarian, most of the fans have been thinking to do that and there are people who have really working on things to include more of a vegetarian in their diet.
Other than causing animal suffering on a massive scale, eating meat has been linked to an enhanced risk of suffering from heart disease, strokes, diabetes, cancer, and obesity. As per United Nations report, a global shift towards vegan eating is necessary to combat the worst effects of climate change.
Coming to the work front, Rajkummar Rao is currently shooting for Fanney Khan. The movie features Aishwarya Rai and Anil Kapoor in key roles. Alia Bhatt is busy with her shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi. The movie is set to hit the silver screens in March 2018.
