It’s been 5 years since Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been each other after they met on the sets of ‘Goliyon ki rasleela: Ramleela’. Although they haven’t officially accepted their relationship in public, but their PDA says it all. Be it in award shows, events, interviews or any public appearance, one could say just by looking at them that the couple is in love.

Many speculations have also been doing rounds about the couple tying the knot, especially since the couple returned from their year-end Maldives trip with their families. While on Deepika’s birthday, rumours went strong that the couple got engaged. However, Deepika rubbished the rumours on the talk reality show, ‘BFFs with Vogue’. But as per the latest reports, the couple is all set to have an extreme private wedding by the year-end.

According to the sources, “They (Ranveer and Deepika) had just returned from their week-long holiday in the Maldives and their respective parents had recently blessed the alliance. It was the perfect moment to celebrate the union and the couple didn’t shy away from the photogs as they left together in Ranveer’s car.”

Sources further reveal that Ranveer and Deepika’s family have finalised four dates between September and December. “It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow,” the source added.

Deepika has already begun the preparations as she was recently rumoured to be doing wedding shopping for her bridal trousseau and jewellery, with her sister Anisha and Mom Ujjala Padukone in Bangalore. The ideal venue for the wedding is yet to be decided by the couple.

Kangana who read too many books about Mahatma Gandhi in her childhood said that “He was a sensible, intelligent man which is not very common”.

Recently, Kangana talk about being nationalist or fundamentalist, she said both the words are being conceptualized wrong in India. She added, “I am a cool youngster of the 21st century… I am a nationalist but not a fundamentalist”.

SpiceJet Flight Attendants Accuse Airline Of ‘Strip Search’, Latter Says “It’s A Company Policy”

We talk of crimes like rapes and molestations being committed at generally secluded areas but what about the harassments and molestations which are also taking place in the workplace and such big companies like SpiceJet? The flight attendants of the airline are asking the same question as they are forced to appear for a ‘strip search’ after deboarding from their flights for past few days.

On Saturday morning, female flight attendants working with the SpiceJet were allegedly strip-searched at the Chennai airport by the airline’s security personnel.

The news came to light after a video of the airline’s flight attendants complaining about being strip searched came out. One of them was even heard saying that a woman who was on her periods, was asked to remove sanitary napkin from her handbag by the security personnel. As per the reports, in the video, one of the flight attendants said, “Someone touched me inappropriately, made me feel very uncomfortable. I was naked.”

Reportedly, the search was carried out because the airline suspected that the flight attendants duped cash collected on board through the sale of items during the flight journey. During the strip search, they were not only manhandled but also not allowed to the washroom after deboarding.

One of them told a media agency, “We air hostesses are stripped naked over the last three days and women personnel touch us inappropriately. A colleague in her period was asked to remove her sanitary napkin.”

“Is this the policy to remove your sanitary pad, touch private parts? We cabin crew are hired majorly for safety reasons of the fellow passengers but what about our respect and safety? We talk about rape and molestation, is this any less?” one woman said.

Another woman added, “On informing the base official that I wasn’t comfortable and I’m on my menses she still checked my panty; they pressed my breasts. I’ve lost my self-respect… Cabin crew is the brand ambassador. We are humiliated as if we have done some robbery.”

SpiceJet’s senior vice president, Kamal Hingorani, who heads in-flight services said that the strict search was performed on the suspicion that cabin crew was taking cash and company material.

He clarified, in a company email, “We have therefore been compelled to carry out spot checks, which in any case is a company policy. It is in all our interests that the ‘black sheep’ amongst us is identified and removed so that honest employees are not blamed.”

In a statement, the airlines said, “The search essentially is the same as what any passenger goes through at any of the Indian airports while going through security check.”

They also confirmed that after having received a tip-off, airline’s security team did carry out searches at some of its stations on March 28 and 29.

A senior Spicejet official from Chennai told that it’s a ‘baseless allegation’.

Filmmaker-archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur has invited Christopher Nolan to India. He wants this trip of the director to help him spread awareness about preservation and restoration.

Approx. 1 Lakh Students in Kerala Leave Caste and Religion Column Blank In School Admission Form

Parents of 1.2 lakh students did not fill the religion and caste columns while admitting their children to school. Kerala’s education minister C Raveendranath stated this and he also said that the statistics during the question hour of the state assembly on Wednesday.

The minister said, “This year at the time of admission a record of 1.24 lakh students have left religion and caste columns blank while seeking admission. This shows secular credentials of our society.”

Kerala has again proved itself to be the one who changes the society for good. This is an incredible step towards abolishing the deep-rooted discrimination which is based on caste and religion in our society.

Kerala’s footballer CK Vineeth has also gained praises for marking his son’s religion as ‘nil’ on the birth certificate.

According to the figures which were collected from approx. 9000 schools, out of 3.16 lakh students who took admission in class 1, over 1.24 chose to leave their caste and religion column blank.

A report given to a media person said that this is a growing trend amongst parents and children. Once the caste and religion column is left blank, the officials have no role in it. Speaking in the state legislative assembly, State education minister Prof C Ravindranath said, “This year at the time of admission a record number of 1.24 lakh students have left religion and caste columns blank while seeking admission. This shows secular credentials of our society.”

This is indeed an incredible change in the society. Can we expect such a change in other parts of our country as well?

A girl loses camera 2 years ago, found on a beach in Taiwan, returned back to her by a group of students

When you will read this story, you will realize what luck and is…It’s an extraordinary tale.

A girl lost his camera at sea for over two years which turned up on a beach in Taiwan this week on Tuesday and in barnacles and barely recognizable but thanks to a waterproof case, remained in perfect working condition.

The camera was discovered by a group of school children who were on a day out to clean up the beach and their teacher who decided to track down the owner by sharing it on Facebook.

And just in one day, they found the owner and her name is Serina Tsubakihara. She said, “I couldn’t believe it. I was super surprised when my friends told me about this and sent me the post with those pictures”.

Serina said, “I was scuba diving and I lost the camera when one of my friends ran out of the air and needed my help.” The last photo on the camera was taken on 7 September 2015 on Ishigaki Island in Okinawa. The island is about 250 km away from northern Taiwan. However, the owner was identified on Wednesday.

Teacher Park Lee said an 11-year old boy found the camera. The camera had its own journey. Not even a drop of water went inside the camera as it was protected in a case and the student tried to start the camera, surprisingly it started. It was charged from 2015 and still, it’s on.

Serina Tsubakihara now plans to go to Taiwan in June to thank the teacher and the school children and pick up her long-lost camera.

After Hit Web Series ‘Breathe’, Actor Amit Sadh Says He Is Facing An Unusual Struggle

Television actor Amit has gained immense popularity with his hit crime thriller web television series ‘Breathe’ which was aired on Amazon Prime Video which also starred R Madhavan in lead role. The show was praised by all and now his film of the same name directed by Reema Kagti will release this year.

Amit was seen as an alcoholic, righteous cop, Kabir Sawant in the show. But we really want to know if there’s any Season 2 of Breathe. “It should happen. I hope it happens. It has to happen. But again, the right people for this question will be Amazon, the producers and the director. I am just a simple, ordinary actor. I am just a small fish in this big pond,” said Amit, increasing our curiosity.

Amit also expressed his desire to work with his Breathe co-star and talented actor R Madhavan, “A lot of fans are saying that we should do a film and do more work together. So that will happen. Maybe a Tamil film.”

The actor went on to say that he might get more projects after the web series, “The pipeline has finally burst and there will be a lot of it,” he said and continued to talk about his upcoming film with the superstar Akshay Kumar. The actor will star in a sports biopic, ‘Gold’, alongside Khiladi Kumar. He assured, “Gold is coming on 15th (August) and it is very, very close to me. It will be amazing.”

Speaking about his experience on working with the Gold Director, Reema, Amit says, “Great learning, as Reema is the first director who helped me so much by pinpointing me. Generally, in the process of filming and the time constraints, most directors are not greedy enough and take what they get. Not that I am a great actor, but people don’t push me. What I like about Reema other than her humanity, is that she has pinpointed to get better and to get precise with my character, which no other director in my career has done. I am really grateful for the process that she has taught me.”

In the film Gold, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of a hockey coach, NN Mukherjee who helps Team Indian win gold as a free nation in the 1948 Summer Olympics. The teaser of the movie has already left everyone impressed.

Talking about his experience of working with Khiladi Kumar, Amit reveals, “Being with him has been a great experience. Watching his method and his enthusiasm, his infectious energy, his method, his discipline, his understanding of his craft has been great. I am very excited, after Breathe, for Gold. People will see me in a new character and a new role.”

The actor is currently very busy, but what is the reason? He replies, “Right now my struggles are, there are so many messages on Instagram! I answer 5 on Instagram and there are 10 on Twitter. I am struggling with time to respond to, talk to everyone. But I will talk to everyone, my fans who are actually indirectly paying my rent.”

We hope that Amit’s fan following keeps increasing and he gets more messages to answer. Amit is a television actor who made his Bollywood debut with the 2010 horror film Phoonk 2. He was also a participant of the controversial reality show, Big Boss.

Rumors: Gia Manek Might Replace Disha Vakani In Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma

Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma delivered a baby girl on 30th November last year. The actress was shooting for the show till the eighth month before she went for a maternity break. And now, it’s been more than four months Disha has been on a break.

The die-hard fans of Disha are eagerly waiting for her to come back, however, there are no reports about when Disha will resume shooting.

Earlier, there were reports about the actress quitting the show. However, there was no official confirmation. The show’s producer Asit Modi had stated, “The shooting conditions are tough and since Disha’s baby is still very young she needs her. We haven’t discussed about her return yet and there is no official confirmation on Disha quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.”

A source close to the show stated, “We are in touch with Disha to start the shoot. But she has yet not given a nod. Considering her baby is very small, production is willing to be understanding  in terms of timing and schedule, like we were in the final months of her pregnancy. But she wants to focus more on her personal commitments at the moment. But we are trying very hard to bring her back on the sets asap.”

Well, there were also reports about the makers hunting for a fresh face who can replace Disha. And now the first name that has tentatively popped up on the social media platforms is Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress Gia Manek.

As per the reports, the makers have zeroed down Gia’s name to replace Disha. Well, there is no official announcement from the production house.

Let’s wait and watch whether Disha will resume the show or the makers will rope in Gia.

When Yami was asked what she considered of pole dancing and her practice, she said, “The whole idea came because of my love for fitness and dance and that is something I enjoy doing now. Pole dancing is a great way to work on your fitness ability and your dance. It challenges the fitness level a lot more. So I thought this could be something additional which until now I could not have imagined myself doing. Now, I am in a phase where I want to experiment, push myself and my limit and this thought only come from one’s mind. Nobody put this thought in my head, it stems from my own will and passion.”

Yami is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Shahid and Shraddha are also part of the film. Yami is playing the role of a lawyer in the film. The film is slated to be released on 31st of August.

Virat Kohli’s Wax Statue To Join Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev At Madame Tussauds in Delhi

Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli who is often regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world, is the next addition to the list of the names of Hollywood, Bollywood celebs, sportsperson and historical and political personalities whose wax statue has graced the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Delhi.

Virat Kohli is definitely a big name in Cricket world and now in Bollywood too after he married Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in December last year in Italy.

Also the recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2017, Virat Kohli has been approached to have graced his wax figure at the 24th location of the Tussauds franchise, in Delhi.

Madame Tussauds was set up by the sculptor, Marie Tussauds and owned and operated by the Merlin Entertainments. Kohli’s wax figure will join other sports heroes including Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev and Lionel Messi.

Kohli met with Madame Tussauds’ team for the sitting process, where a group of talented world-renowned artists flown in from London took over 200 measurements to create an authentic figure.

Kangana Ranaut on equal pay off: An actor’s pay must be determined by the amount of work he or she does

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is one of those celebrities who likes to speak her mind and not afraid of anyone. She is not diplomatic like there are many in the film industry.

Like Kangana raised her voice on many issues, she also has raised the issue of pay equally too, and in a recent interview talked about the need for women to stand together.

Kangana spoke in an interview about women should stand with each other and support each other, “When I was fighting for equal pay, many women from my industry started fake articles that they are getting this, that. They started hiking their salaries through their PRs. They do not understand how they are harming themselves. What (change) can happen like this- by running someone down and overriding their cause with your own personal agendas? We have got to collectively fight for it. Women have such an inferiority complex that they genuinely believe “ki itna mil raha hai bahot hai, aur kya chahiye tumko” (You are already getting so much. Why do you want more?”

Earlier, while speaking on this topic, Kangana had said, “Here are women in the industry who says that if actresses are unable to bring in crowds (in a theatre) that a male star can, how can they demand equal pay. If we, as actresses, keep dropping this inferiority complex in girls, there is no hope for better times”.

Kangana further added that “Personally, my logic for pay off has always been that I have 365 days to work, as much as any male star. An actor’s pay must be determined by the amount of work she or he does. Your gender is no yardstick for it.”

Well, more power to you Kangana as you speaking not only for yourself but for other women too. Kudos!

Pakistan PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi undergoes a security check at the US airport, Video Goes Viral

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was frisked during the procedure of security check at John F Kennedy Airport in New York. The video is going viral on the social media.

The PM had to undergo a routine security check at a US airport during a recent visit, an ‘indignity’ that has enraged the Pakistani media.

Footage aired on Pakistani TV channels over the past two days shows Abbasi picking up his bag and coat and walking out from a security check.

But it was the sight of the country’s prime minister being subjected to a security check that drove Pakistani TV anchors apoplectic. “He should be ashamed for saying he went on a private visit. He is the prime minister… he has a diplomatic passport …there is no such thing as a private visit. He is representing the country… there are certain protocols when you are representing 22 crore people,” roared one talking head, saying Pakistan had been humiliated and Abbasi had brought shame on the country.

As per the reports of a popular news portal, Abbasi was reportedly on a private visit to meet his ailing sister in the US.

The Pakistani PM, however, has a history of making personal trips to foreign nations.

The incident at the New York airport comes at a time when things have not been well between the United States and Pakistan over Islamabad’s suspected support for militants waging war in Afghanistan, something Pakistani officials deny.

Abhay Deol wishes to act in a sequel of ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’

When Abhay was recently talking to the media while promoting the trailer launch of ‘Nanu Ki Jaanu’, he was asked if there is going to be a sequel of 2011 hit film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. To this, Abhay said that he is ready to be a part of the sequel. He also revealed that his co-stars of ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ that is Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar are also ready to be part of the sequel. They are just waiting for the director, Zoya Akhtar to confirm.

Abhay Deol said, ‘Talks have been there since the last film released in 2011. I hope that Zoya will make a sequel for it. Hrithik tells her that, Farhan is also happy about it and even I tell her that, but Zoya obviously has to get free and have a story that she wants to tell. From our side, you can be sure. We all are ready to do the film, but now Zoya has to say that ‘Yes, I have the mood to write something for it’.”

When Abhay was asked if he will join his uncle Dharmendra and cousins Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol in their upcoming film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se’, he said that he is usually very choosy when it comes to scripts. He also expressed he would love working with his family.

Abhay Deol was quoted, “I would love to work with my family. It just that I am picky about my own work and tomorrow if people approached me for a film with my family, then I will be going through that script even more diligently than my own script because I want it to be that much perfect”.

“So yes, one day, when the right script comes along… But my one apprehension is that I wouldn’t know how to be anybody else other than who I am around my brothers and Taayaji. It is so difficult for me to imagine acting like someone else. I don’t know if I will be able to that”.

“Suppose in a scene, I have to be rude with Pappa (Dharmendra). He is my Taaya, but we call him Pappa as we are in a joint family and we have grown up with that, so I don’t know if I will have that courage to perform in front of him. So that’s my own personal fear, but other than that if there is a script that’s good for us to do then, I am sure I would do it.”

Abhay Deol’s Nanu ki Jaanu is going to release on 6th April 2018.

Akash-Shloka’s Story Is Surely Beautiful, But Mukesh-Nita’s Love Story Is No Less Than A Fairytale

Currently, India’s wealthiest family Ambanis are in the news after they announced their youngest son Akash Ambani’s engagement with diamond merchant Russell Mehta’s daughter Shloka Mehta.

After an intimate engagement ceremony, the Ambanis hosted a lavish post-engagement bash for their son which was one star-studded affair. The bash witnessed the who’s who of Bollywood and cricket fraternity to wish the adorable couple for their new phase in their life.

Akash and Shloka make a lovely pair and now, everyone in the nation wants to know about the ‘daughter-in-law of Ambani family’. News portals can’t stop gushing about the newly engaged couple. Anyways, let’s take a moment to have a look at another love story of the Ambani family which is no less than a fairytale. It is none other than Mukesh and Nita’s love story.

Well, we often hear that either the boy or the girl leaves a long-lasting impression on each other which tends to make them come close. But here Nita made a great impact on Mukesh’s mom and dad which led things to next level. It was then Mukesh came into the picture. Mukesh’s parents were smitten by Nita’s Bharatnatyam show and they so wanted to have her as their daughter-in-law.

After being approached with a proposal to marry Mukesh, Nita, who belonged to a middle-class family, was not on cloud nine. She remained grounded and had her own conditions and never agreed to marry Mukesh for his wealth and status.

Like any other common family, things started on a quite traditional note when Dhirubhai asked for the girl’s hand in marriage. He called up Nita and introduced himself which Nita did not believe at first. Finally, Dhirubhai spoke to Nita’s father and discussed further things. After their discussion,  Nita’s and Mukesh’s courtship began.

It was quite a difficult phase for Nita-Mukesh as they were busy with their work commitments which gave them minimal time to spend with each other. However, the couple tried to keep the romance flowing in the middle of the entire time crisis.

Talking about the proposal and who took an initiative. It was Mukesh who stepped forward to express his feelings and ask Nita for marriage. However, the proposal was quite a filmy one. This delightful day happened when the couple was on a date where Mukesh took Nita for a drive and that is when he lovingly and unrealistically stopped his car and asked Nita, “Will you marry me?” Nita was taken aback when Mukesh said, “Tell me now or I won’t start the car.” How can anyone not agree when someone is asking you out with so much of love. Nita lovingly accepted Mukesh’s proposal.

The couple finally took wedding wows in 1985 when Nita was just 20 years old as per Gujarati rituals. Mukesh and Nita are happily married and have three kids, Anant, Akash, and Isha.
