The Father-Daughter Jodi, Saif and Sara will not share screen on Love Aaj Kal sequel

Sara Ali Khan has just done 2 films and media is just buzzing and speculating her upcoming projects and ventures. The actress debuted with Kedarnath in 2018 and the audience has accepted and showered this new generation star.

Recently a source has given sneaky reports on the ongoing buzz of Sara not being the part of Love Aaj Kal sequel. The Simmba actress has opted out of the movie and fans are not happy with this as we love to watch her on screen. Well, this rumor was not for the first time when we heard of Saif and Sara working together on a film. Earlier, also conjectures were made that the father-daughter Jodi was approached for Nitin Kakkar’s Jawaani Jaaneman and later it was denied too. Likewise the same has happened again with Love Aaj Kal second installment.

In an interview, Sara has said, “I’d love to do a film with Abba. But, the film and our characters must justify our presence. We can’t do a film for doing’s sake,” the 23 years old actress said.

Even Saif also denied all the rumors and conjectures about the same in an interview with Bollywood Hungama said, ” It is not true at all.”

The Love Aaj Kal director Imtiaz Ali had said that he is planning to shoot the movie in 2019. “As a story idea, it has been with me since a very long time. I’ve been discussing it. In fact, I find there are reflections in the interviews where I’ve said things like that. I’ve been saying that and feeling that perhaps not even as a story but one day I realized there is a story. But I’ve written it like recently,” the director said.

While his response on casting Sara for the project was confidential, he said, “I can’t reveal now since we haven’t announced anything. We are trying to work it out. There’s nothing confirmed now but we are working towards a film. But can’t say anything now.”
