Punjab’s Brother-Sister Ties Knot To Get Immigration Of Australia, Seems They Took GOT Seriously

It is quite obvious that many people are obsessed with the famous web series and now it seems they are taking some ‘eww’ inspiration from the show also. For the world, a relation of brother-sister is full of sweet clashes and love, however, this bro-sis has taken their relationship to next level by getting married for immigration. Sounds weird? It is…

Hailing from Punjab, a brother and sister married each other with a properly planned agenda. The officials have found out they did it so they could make their ways to Australia.

We have seen many cases related to immigration but this is the only one which left us shocked. They registered their marriage in a Punjab court where the sister used the cousin brother’s documents who have an Australian visa.

The two traveled to Australia on fake documents and passports where they con the immigration department in granting the sister a spouse visa.

“According to our investigation, we have come to know so far that the brother was already a permanent resident of Australia and documents were forged to give his sister the identity of their cousin and they first got a marriage certificate from a gurdwara and it was registered in the sub-registrar’s office,” Inspector Jai Singh revealed.

“They have cheated the social system, legal system and religious systems, all for the craze, wish and desire to go abroad. We are conducting raids but they are on the run and we have not been able to arrest anyone”, he said.

Singh added that he had heard of “scams happening by people who want to go abroad, but something like this, a brother and sister marrying, is a first, and now it has come in front of our eyes we are all surprised and shocked”.

Now, we have seen everything!
