Sonam And Anand To Get Hitched In Mumbai And Not In Geneva

The speculations about Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s marriage is doing the rounds of the social media for quite some time now. There were reports about the actress having a big fat wedding in Geneva, Switzerland.

A source revealed, ”The date and venue for the wedding have been locked and mass bookings for flights are presently underway. Her dad Anil Kapoor is personally making phone calls to invite guests. There will be sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding”.

Then came news that the couple will be tying the knot in Mumbai itself by this month end. However, there was no official confirmation about the same.

And now, as per the latest reports, the actress will get married in Mumbai itself. As per a leading web portal, Sonam and Anand’s wedding will take place on May 7 and 8 and it will be a big fat Indian wedding. There will be three different functions- Mehendi, Sangeet and the D-Day and all of these will be held at three different venues.

The reports further state that Sonam and Anand’s sangeet will be held at the actress’s bestie Samyukta Nair’s five-star resort-style hotel, The Leela at Sahar. Mehendi will be held at Sonam’s 35-crore luxurious duplex flat in Sunteck Signature Island building at Bandra Kurla Complex. The ceremony will be held in a ballroom-like banquet area.

And finally the wedding will be taking place at the heritage mansion of Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh (mother Sunita’s sister) at Bandra Bandstand near Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat.

Well, these details have made us quite excited and we just can’t wait to see Sonam as a beautiful bride.
