Anushka Sharma has been replaced by Alia Bhat as the face of a popular ethnic fashion brand. The actress, on Saturday, took to Instagram to share the pictures from their ad campaign. Alia is looking really very gorgeous.
Alia, while sharing the pictures on her Instagram account, wrote – “#DulhanWaliFeeling. Super excited to be the face of @moheyfashion.. Here’s to new beginnings and beautiful lehengas”.
In the advertisement, the Raazi actress is walking down the aisle to her groom at their wedding. At first, she doubts herself but then pumps herself up. The ad shows Alia in different shades. Sometimes, she plays underconfident, then sassy, doubtful again, then emotional and again confident.
She asks herself- Am I looking good? Of course, have you seen my outfit?. Then she wonders if she has made a wrong decision but calls her groom. Getting emotional, she thinks about her father and how much she’ll miss him. At last she pulls herself up and says – Relax. I won’t cry. It could ruin my makeup.
Earlier, Anushka Sharma was the brand ambassador of the brand along with her husband and Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli and earlier this year, the skipper was replaced by Kartik Aaryan.
In the ad, Alia reminds one of her in Dilbaro song from Raazi film. The actress is shown in two looks in the song. For one look, she wears a pink and green dress, while for the second look she, with green dupatta, wears a pink and blue saree.
However, Alia looks splendid in a bride’s avatar but her fans are eagerly waiting to see how she will be looking on her own wedding. The actress is dating her Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor and rumours were doing the rounds recently that they are going to get married soon. But the rumours have been denied by the family members of both the stars.
