Milind Soman’s office is equally as attractive as the model himself, catch glimpses of his work space inside

While Milind Soman might be a big inspiration considering his multiple talents as actor/model/fitness promotor, it might be a big secret here he gets his inspiration from. Now, it might be hard to imagine such a creative guy doing desk work inside conference rooms, he actually spends some time doing just that. However, the twist in the tale is that his workspace looks nothing short of a cool, creative, café-like space.

Designed by Shimona Bhansali of Design Hex, Milind’s office reciprocates positive energy and fresh ideas, leaving onlookers drooling in wonder. How we wish our offices were like Milind’s. Catch out some glimpses of his workspace here.

Behind the scenes

Milind Soman and his partner Reema Sanghvi’s office is in Santa Cruz, Mumbai, a plush 3,500 square feet space that pulsates with upbeat energy. The entire workspace is segregated into different functional areas with eight grand rooms, custom designed fully in accordance with Feng Shui.

Spacing

While the space was already rich with grand elements like high ceilings and sprawling square footage, the designer worked wonders and avoided making the whole space a bit overcrowded by giving all cabins even space into an open, central area.

This is where things get exciting and tricky. Each room has a unique identity and character. each space is bold, playful and colorful. “We wanted his office to mimic Milind Soman’s spirit and charm. The space is young at heart, much like Milind. We’ve added swings, art, and colors all around,” says Bhansali.

The vents on the ceiling look like race tracks and have stickers of Pinkathon, a women’s run initiative by the United Sisters Foundation.

The actor’s cabin is a colorful room punctuated with quirky elements. His table is designed like a cassette, hand painted with his favorite band’s name on it. Explaining Milind’s cabin, the Bhansali enthused, “He wanted a relaxed feel in his own cabin, so he could conduct his meetings at ease. We obliged with a comfortable sofa, adorned with throw pillows in vibrant bohemian prints and a bright ochre chair, complete with a pale blue footrest.”

Artistic Touches

Walls, tables, and even cupboards were painted by various artists who were invited on site to transform the space. There is even a large white brick wall that showcases caricature-like illustrations of each of the employees which is Milind’s personal favorite. The entire office is a cheerful place enriched with quirky artworks, bright colors, and prints.
