CBSE declared 12th class result today, girls top this time too

Students after giving examination eagerly wait for their results. They work hard and perform well to know whether they scored good in their exams or not. All those students who have 12th CBSE exam this year were eagerly waiting for the result to be declared soon. As results were about to get announced today, students as well as parents were eagerly waiting.

The wait got over when the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the results of Class 12 examination. The students and their parents can check the results on  official websites cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in.

The Overall pass percentage this year is 83.4%. This time girl has outshined and left behind the boys as Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora of UP have scored 499 out of 500 . They have come out to be the shinning star as they emerged as CBSE topper.Girls have pass percentage of 88.70% while boys have pass percentage of 79.40%.

This year a  total total of 31,14,831 candidates were registered for both 10th and 12th out of which 12, 87, 359 had appeared for CBSE class 12th exam and 18, 27, 472 candidates for 10th exam.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated students and tweeted “Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed the CBSE Class XII examinations. My best wishes to them for their endeavours. Kudos also to their parents and teachers for the valuable support.”.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal son Pulkit Kejriwal scored 96.4% in his 12th exam. While Smriti Irani son scored 91% in his exams. The top performing region this year is Trivandrum with 98.2% while second and third performing states are Chennai and Delhi.

Topper Hansika told ABP that she wants to pursue bachelor in psychology honoursas she is passionate in psychology. She also shared that she didn’t go any tuition and topped with her self study.
