History repeats itself so as fashion trends. We see styles which were trend of earlier times coming back. A few stays for a longer period while people reject others. Colour blocking is one such fashion of older times which has come back yet again.
The colour blocking is said to have originated from the artwork of Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian. Colour blocking is a style which brings together colours that are opposites on the colour wheel. The combination from these colours are made and it strikes whoever watch this.
Opposite to earlier times, the preference for the celebrities seem to pastel shades and light hues. So, let’s have a look at the pictures of celebrities loving colour blocking.
Firstly, the fashionista of Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor. The actress decided to wear a stunning outfit at the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards 2019. She opted the classic shades of pink and neon for her red carpet look. Greek designer Celia Kritharioti designed her gown. Her colour-block noodle strap taffetta gown became centre of attraction at the red carpet.
Then comes the actress who never fails in her fashion and she is none other than Deepika Padukone. The actress who recently married to Ranveer Singh wear lots of pink this season. She wore a pastel pink ruffled top and teamed it up with a pair of orange pants. She also wore a neon pink sandals Deepika’s unusual side of fashion! Her outfit which was completely dedicated to colour blocking won the style game. For her one more look, she chose to wear the combination of blue and purple.
Then comes lovely looking Alia Bhatt who is gearing up for the release of her film Kalank. She showcased her love for colour blocking when she wore classic pink and orange combination for an award function. It was a pink coloured one-shoulder top paired up with orange flared pants.
The season also sees Sunny Leone wearing the colour blocking trend. She wore a satin blue crop top with a shiny purple skirt and completed her look with light curls and painted her lip in bold shade.
Last but not the least, Athiya Shetty gave her nod to colour-blocking by opting an elegant Bibhu Mohapatra attire and certainly made heads turn.
