Jammu & Kashmir: After some cowardly stone-pelters attacks a school bus full of 40 students, three children were injured. In south Kashmir’s Shopian district yesterday, a school bus has been targeted by some people and it seems political parties giving soft approach towards them.
Student of class 2nd, Rhen, was injured after his head hit by a stone. He immediately was taken to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital in Srinagar for specialized treatment.
According to the Shopian’s superintendent of police Shailender Kumar Mishra:
“The incident happened around 9:25 am when the bus carrying at least 40 students of Rainbow High School at Zavoora in Shopian was passing through Narpora area of Shopian. The driver showed some presence of mind and increased the speed so that he could avoid getting hit. However, unfortunately, a child was seriously hurt in his head. We had his CT scan, he is currently fine.”
“The kids are scared. We could not ask them about the attackers,” he added.
However, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti took to Twitter showed her grief and wrote:
Shocked & angered to hear of the attack on a school bus in Shopian. The perpetrators of this senseless & cowardly act will be brought to justice.

8-year-old Rehan’s father Nooruddin while talking to media said:
“These kids are innocent and they have nothing to do with anything. If anything, school buses should not be targeted. Everybody has kids. This could have happened to anybody’s child. School buses should not become the target of stone pelting,” he said.
Well, all eyes on the minister but Congress’ state Chief GA Mir blamed ruling government’s incompetence for Shopian attack and said, “Government, both at the center and the state, have to answer how to deal with stone pelters.”
Congress’ State Chief Spokesperson Ravindra Sharma also refused to take any position ans said, “It’s not the question of supporting or opposing amnesty scheme, the government must clarify as to why their policies are failing.”
This is really disappointing!
