India’s Deepika Kumari, Promila Daimary and Ankita Bhakar lose the second set 51-56 against Chinese Taipei, who now have a 4-0 in the women’s Recurve Team Quarterfinal

Bowling

India finishes 13th in men’s Team of Six with a score of 3876

Men’s Badminton

India’s Satwik Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty go down fighting 17-21 21-19 17-21 against South Korea’s Solgyu Choi and Minhyuk in the round of 16 to crash out of the men’s doubles competition

Women’s Badminton

India’s PV Sindhu marches into the quarterfinals after beating Gregoria Mariska Tunjung of Indonesia 21-12 21-15 in the women’s singles Round of 16.

Dipika Pallikal Wins Bronze

Dipika Pallikal settles for bronze after losing 0-3 in the women’s singles squash semifinals against Nicol Ann David of Malaysia. India 26 medals – 6 gold, 5 silver, 15 bronze

ATHLETICS – Tajinderpal Singh Wins Gold

Tajinderpal won the gold breaking the games record in his fifth attempt with a throw of 20.75, which is also the national record.

ATHLETICS – Hima Das Qualifies For Finals

Hima Das qualifies for women’s 400m finals after clocking 51.00 in heats. It’s the new national record!

ATHLETICS – Anas Qualifies For Finals

Muhammed Anas has done it! He’s in 400m final after clocking 45.30 in the semi-final

India is at the eight position in the table with 29 medals including 7 gold, 5 silver and 17 bronze.
